A quick travel update (and something useful)

Frequent Traveller News

Hi Reader,

Just a quick update from us. We’re currently travelling Vietnam and have been spending a bit of time in South East Asia again.

One thing that always comes up over here is the language barrier.

Day to day it is usually fine. Ordering food, getting around, booking things. No issues.

But it did get us thinking…

What would we actually do if we needed to see a doctor while travelling?

Something we looked into

Out of curiosity, we checked what options are available where we are right now.

And it turns out there are actually platforms designed for this exact situation.

Instead of trying to figure it out on the spot, you can use a service that helps you:

  • find local doctors nearby
  • choose someone who speaks English
  • and book quickly without the usual stress

Even where we are now near Da Nang, there are options available, which was honestly reassuring to see.

Why this is worth knowing

This is one of those things you do not think about until you need it.

And when you do need it, you probably want something simple, clear, and easy to organise.

It is just one of those small things that can make travelling feel a lot less stressful.

If you want to see how it works

We put together a quick guide covering the platform we found and how to use it:

Find a Doctor While Travelling: Why Air Doctor Makes It Easy

Hopefully it is not something you ever need, but definitely worth knowing about before your next trip.

More updates from us soon.

Safe Travels!

Is Ba Na Hills worth visiting

Frequent Traveller News VISIT OUR BLOG | RESOURCES | ABOUT US Hi Reader, We’re currently travelling through Vietnam and again just visited a place we once avoided for years. Ba Na Hills. It actually took us multiple trips to the region before we finally went, and now we’ve been three times. That probably tells you something. Before visiting, we weren’t convinced. It’s not a cultural site, and it’s not really what people picture when they think of Vietnam. It’s a mountaintop resort and theme...

Frequent Traveller News VISIT OUR BLOG | RESOURCES | ABOUT US Hi Reader, We’ve just landed in Vietnam and this ended up being one of the easiest arrivals we’ve ever had. You might remember we mentioned trying the fast-track immigration service in Ho Chi Minh City. Honestly, it was one of the best travel decisions we’ve made. We landed at 9:00pm to a packed immigration hall, with hundreds of people already in line. Instead of joining them, we were met by a representative and taken straight to...

Frequent Traveller News VISIT OUR BLOG | RESOURCES | ABOUT US Hi Reader, Hope you’re having a great weekend! We are counting down the days until our next trip to Vietnam, and we thought we would share a quick update on what we have planned. This trip will be a mix of new experiences, revisiting some of our favourite spots and testing services to make future trips to Vietnam run even smoother. Instead of our usual bus journey, we will be taking a luxury overnight train from Hanoi to Sa Pa....
