We’re testing something new on our next trip…

Frequent Traveller News

Hi Reader,

Hope you’re having a great weekend!

We are counting down the days until our next trip to Vietnam, and we thought we would share a quick update on what we have planned.

This trip will be a mix of new experiences, revisiting some of our favourite spots and testing services to make future trips to Vietnam run even smoother.

Instead of our usual bus journey, we will be taking a luxury overnight train from Hanoi to Sa Pa. Imagine a private cabin with proper beds, a much more relaxed way to reach the mountains in the north.

Our first stop will be in Ho Chi Minh City where we will be test driving the Ho Chi Minh City fast-track immigration service.

Vietnam has become a popular tourist destination and arrival queues at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, can often be long. This trip we want to see whether this service truly makes arrival into Ho Chi Minh City quicker and easier.

Check here for Ho Chi Minh City highlights and what it has to offer visitors.

Over our three-month journey we will be sharing a multitude of experiences, including:

• What the luxury train to Sa Pa is really like

• Whether the Ho Chi Minh City fast-track service is worth it

• New hotels, food spots, and travel tips we discover

If you are curious or have any questions about travel within Vietnam, hit reply and let us know, we would be more than happy to help.

Until next time, Safe Travels!

Is Ba Na Hills worth visiting

Frequent Traveller News VISIT OUR BLOG | RESOURCES | ABOUT US Hi Reader, We’re currently travelling through Vietnam and again just visited a place we once avoided for years. Ba Na Hills. It actually took us multiple trips to the region before we finally went, and now we’ve been three times. That probably tells you something. Before visiting, we weren’t convinced. It’s not a cultural site, and it’s not really what people picture when they think of Vietnam. It’s a mountaintop resort and theme...

How to find a doctor when travelling

Frequent Traveller News VISIT OUR BLOG | RESOURCES | ABOUT US Hi Reader, Just a quick update from us. We’re currently travelling Vietnam and have been spending a bit of time in South East Asia again. One thing that always comes up over here is the language barrier. Day to day it is usually fine. Ordering food, getting around, booking things. No issues. But it did get us thinking… What would we actually do if we needed to see a doctor while travelling? Something we looked into Out of...

Frequent Traveller News VISIT OUR BLOG | RESOURCES | ABOUT US Hi Reader, We’ve just landed in Vietnam and this ended up being one of the easiest arrivals we’ve ever had. You might remember we mentioned trying the fast-track immigration service in Ho Chi Minh City. Honestly, it was one of the best travel decisions we’ve made. We landed at 9:00pm to a packed immigration hall, with hundreds of people already in line. Instead of joining them, we were met by a representative and taken straight to...
